Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Staten Island is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I've always loved it there. Doctor bahouth and doctor bates are great. Everything has always been accurate and they answer all questions.

I have had the pleasure of being placed under the care of Dr. Sammy DeAngelis and his team throughout my entire pregnancy and delivery. My overall experience as a first time mom felt smooth and truly cared for, especially with their staff being patient explaining everything to me without rushing. I truly was privileged to have been placed under the care of this team and I highly recommend this place.

If I can give 0 stars I would. One hour wait for an ultrasound at EVERY appointment. It’s like they double book patients. My appointment was at 10:30 I got there a little early and left at 11:20 and still did not get called.

They need to hire more staff here having high risk pregnant women (especially those due to give birth in a week) wait 2 hours is unacceptable; try not to come here ladies! The other Maternal Fetal Medicine locations are NOT like this one at all I’ve never waited more than 20 minutes at the others. I will say the tech was absolutely fantastic and was the only tech I’ve ever had that actually smiled and made the experience a happier one (most techs don’t have any emotion and it dulls the whole experience). Also the doctor was fantastic as well and answered my questions thoroughly and reassured me. Thank you!

The young receptionist I spoke to was extremely rude and unpleasant when I called trying to make an appointment. I was going through a very scary time, and without an ounce of sympathy just told me they have nothing until next year (100% trying to get off the phone as soon as possible). I called back just accepting that I’ll have to wait a few months to be seen and thankfully got helped by another woman who was way more helpful. She got me into the system, which was very time consuming (not her fault at all), but I know this was why the first young woman I spoke to wanted me off the phone. This clinic really needs to be mindful about who they hire to work reception knowing how so many women are coming in during scary and sensitive experiences. If my doctor didn’t just move to this practice, I would never deal with this place.

I called to make an appointment because I’m expecting and I had an extremely rare ectopic pregnancy 2.5 years ago. My doctor advised when I’m expecting to call for an early ultrasound due to my history. The receptionist told me no because “they won’t be able to see nothing” so I have to wait until I’m 10 weeks. She’s not a doctor nor an ultrasound tech giving patients the absolute wrong information. I won’t be back ever again. Truly disappointed.

Avoid this clinic at all costs, unless you are willing to block out your entire day to wait hours after your appointment time to be seen. My initial appointment last week was supposed to be at 9:45 and I did not end up leaving until well past midday. Now, for my follow-up appointment, the pattern seems to be repeating and I am still waiting to be seen over an hour after my appointment. I understand that delays are sometimes inevitable, but, judging by both my experience and the other reviews, this is the standard here and the staff seem completely unfazed by that fact. I have never seen a health establishment show such a flagrant disregard for their patients—and don’t even get me started on the parking!

This place is the worst. One time I was here 4 hours for a follow up. An hour and a half PLUS in the waiting room multiple times. Weather you show up an hour early or 10 minutes ahead, prepare to lose an entire day sitting in this waiting room and even when you get called back…guess what, more waiting!
